Special Education Information
Special education and related services are provided at Northside College Preparatory High School. Students with special education needs are encouraged to participate in the selective admissions process.
Students with diagnosed disabilities may be eligible for accommodations at school. To receive medical or academic accommodations, appropriate documentation must be submitted to the Special Services staff by the parent/guardian. Utilizing a team approach, a determination will be made regarding eligibility for accommodations and/or special education services necessary to support the student.
At Northside, we are committed to supporting the needs of individuals with diagnosed disabilities. We will implement Individualized Education Plans and 504 Plans regarding testing and/or classroom accommodations, and we will arrange for ancillary and itinerant support services through the Office of Specialized Services.
Northside Prep is a full inclusion school, offering core curricular classes at the Honors, Advanced Placement, or College Bridge levels only.
